Due to a change in owners we have today been given 7 days notice that we need to move our gear out of our storage unit. We've issued a press release asking for help....
Team called out to Alsagar - 24 August
At 7.45pm the team were called out to search for a missing female in the Alsagar area.
Marbury Park Open Day - 21 and 22 August
The team will be at Murbury park at the weekend so why not pop down and meet the team and join in the fun.
Team called out to Ellesmere Port - 9 August
The team was called, by Cheshire Police, to an incident in Ellesmere Port to search for a missing male.
Shelley's skydiving support - 9 August

Preparations take place for major search exercises - 23 May
This morning team members met at our storage unit to prepare equipment and vehicles for a major police search exercise in Delamere to be held on the 30th May.
'Essential community service' so say St Joseph's Union of Catholic Mothers - 20 May
This evening two team members gave a presentation to St Joseph's the Union of Catholic Mothers in Warrington outlining the role of the team, how we work with Cheshire Police and some of the equipment we use.
The group, about 25 in total, said that they found the talk very interesting and was glad that such a service is available for Cheshire.
We would like to thank the Union of Catholic Mothers for their invite to come and talk and their very kind donation.
Search dramas after a 999 call, Chelford - 19 May
At 1806hrs, we were called by Cheshire Police to assist in the search for a missing female with multiple personality disorders.
Steep access training - 18 May
This evening members met at The Forest Hills Hotel for access to Frodsham Hill for 'steep access' training.
Call out for missing male in Newton-le-Willows - 16 May
This afternoon Cheshire Police contacted the Duty Call-out Officer of Cheshire SAR to request assistance in the search for a missing male.
Missing Chester resident found - also on 11 May
Today we received the great news that he has been located outside of the area but is safe and well.
Northwest underwater search team presentation - 11 May
Tonight we welcomed Colin Sammuel, from the Northwest Underwater Search Unit who gave a presentation to the team on his work.
Team teaches at Warrington Collegiate - 10 May
We had a very kind invite to teach the Uniformed Services Course at Warrington Collegiate today.
Search continues in Chester - 8 and 9 May
A continuation of the search which began on Thursday 6 May was requested by Cheshire Police on Saturday 8 May and the team were asked to meet near West Cheshire College at 1pm.

100th search for Team Leader - 6 May
Congratulations to Team Leader and Search Manager Joanne McClure. Today was a special search for Jo, as this is her 100th search she has co-ordinated on behalf of Cheshire Search and Rescue Team and also Cheshire Police.
High Praise from Retiring Police Search Advisor - 30 April
The team works very closely with Cheshire Police on searches and we know the police search advisors well.
One of the advisor is retiring after 30 plus years with Cheshire Police and emailed Team Leader Jo McClure to say thank you to the team.
New Deputy Team Leaders Appointed - 27 April
This evening we held our Special General Meeting in which the members had requested to alter the Constitution to allow for the appointment of two new Deputy Team Leaders.
Successful Equipment Day - 25 April
Each month we hold an Equipment Day in which all operational kit gets checked and cleaned including vehicles and fundraising stock.
Outstanding Report from Woolston Explorers - 22 April
On the 14th April Dave McClure and Joanne Pritchard delivered a presentation to the Explorers at Woolston regarding the team and also gave them an in-sight into what we do and how a search dog works.
Stretcher Handling Training at Pex Hill - 20 April
This evening team members arrived at Pex Hill, Cronton, Widnes for a search exercise encorporating casualty care and stretcher handling.

This evening dog handler Joanne Pritchard and Team Leader Joanne McClure made their journey to train with friends and colleagues at Southport Off-Shore Rescue Trust.

Jumble & Table Top Sale - 10 April
Today we held a Jumble & Table Top Sale at Latchford Methodist Church, Thelwall Lane, Warrington. This was the first attempt at a Jumble Sale and what a day to hold it on... Grand National Day!
Delamere Re-Visited - 6 April
This evening Party Leaders were tested by having to take control of a search with only the guidance of a Police Search Advisor. Party Leaders, Colin, Jim and Jeff quickly decided and organised team members and search priorities to search for a missing despondent male.
Grappenhall Probus Presentation - 1 April
Today Chris Palin and Hilary Williams travelled to Grappenhall, Warrington to give a presentation regarding the history of the team and what we do as volunteers assisting the police, the community and people of Cheshire.

First Aid Course for St. Wilfreds Scout Group, Grappenhall - 20 March
This weekend team members, Dave McClure, Chris Palin, Katie Wightman, Linda Howell, Denis Bates and Colin Wrench were on hand to deliver a First Aid Course for the Scouts at St. Wilfreds, Grappenhall.
New Vehicle Arrives - 19 March
Today we received a donated vehicle from Cheshire Police.
Search for missing Delamere Resident - 6 Jan
At 9am this morning, team members assembled at an RV point in Delamere for the search of a missing resident. This was following notification to the Duty Call Out Manager, Geoff Roberts, which he had received late last evening.
North West Ambulance Service Support - 5 Jan
At 0830 the team was contacted to provide immediate support to our colleague, Bolton Mountain Rescue who were providing emergency support to the North West Ambulance service (Greater Manchester) who had declared a major incident due to the extreme and poor weather conditions.
