‘Chest Pains At
Lumb Brook Valley

Tonight Team Members met for their training session with a twist. Tonight we welcomed 5 new Team Members who had to chance to experience a search scenario.

The scenario was at Lumb Brook Valley (Woodlands Trust), Appleton and consisted of a male who was having chest pains but was unable to describe his location. A water search and various other search techniques were performed and the casualty was located unconscious. Team Members had the task of dealing with the casualty and extricating him to a place of safety which was the road alongside Dingle Lane .

I would like to take this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to the new Team Members and also to Team Members who have been with us for some time now for making them all feel welcome.

This was also the first training session that was ran solo by our new Training Officer – Congratulations Lee and may the success continue for many years to come.
