At 9am this morning, we were called to assist Cheshire Police in Widnes to search for a missing lady with Alzheimer’s. She had gone missing yesterday afternoon from her home address in Widnes. Her friends and family, along with Police Officers, had searched throughout the night on foot and in vehicles with no luck. Team Members met at Widnes Police Station, Kingsway, Widnes. Members were tasked to a number of sectors (search areas) including fields, churches and parkland areas around her home address. Whilst searching Birchfield Gardens, alongside Birchfield Road, a member of the public approached one of the Team Members and gave some vital information, this in turn successfully located the missing lady at a nearby hospital. We would like to thank everybody involved with this search from Police Officers to members of the public. Also, thank you to the local shop owners close to St. Luke’s Church and to the Rugby Club at Wilmere Lane for the use of the car parking facilities. Teams’ Breakdown
