‘ Equipment donated by our friends at Bolton Mountain Rescue Team’

Mid day today at Bolton Mountain rescue Teams’ Ladybridge Hall Base/HQ we were welcomed by Garry Rhodes, Team Leader of Bolton MRT along with many other colleagues old and new, Joanne and Dave McClure, Cheshire LSART’s Chair and Medical Team Lead, had called to collect the donation of two Donway traction splints no longer required by Bolton MR team. Bolton MRT has recently replaced these items with an alternative traction splint system.

The two kits had been maintained in excellent condition and were warmly welcomed by Cheshire LSAR, who are currently expanding their casualty care equipment. A few years ago we had been donated what had been Bolton ’s Control Trailer to Cheshire LSAR Team.

Once again we would like to express our thanks to Bolton MRT for all of their support and we hope to continue the fantastic working relationship in the immediate and long term future.

We’d also like to express huge Congratulations to Garry Rhodes on his MBE in the New Year awards – a well earned honour and not a moment too soon. Congratulations Garry and may the hard work continue!
