‘Call-Out Takes Team to Chester Zoo’

At 08:39hrs today Cheshire LSART was called by Cheshire Police to assist in the search for a missing 47 year old male with mental health problems.

The initial call was to meet within Chester on Warrington Road , opposite Hoole Hall Hotel. However, due to the limited parking facilities and the search areas designated, the decision was to travel along the A41 to Chester Zoo.

Team members were deployed to an area around the Shropshire Union Canal in which they searched with no confirmed sightings. Upon the team returning to the Control Point, our Chairman received a phone call from the Polsa for Cheshire Police.

The team were then given the sad news that the missing male had been located deceased in an area outside of the search boundaries.

Our thoughts are with all of his family and friends at this very sad time.
