Early morning wake up call for a missing male - 31 January 2008
Whilst one of our search managers was planning a lie-in bed today, her phone rang with an immediate call for assistance from Cheshire Police. This search was for a missing male from the Crewe area. Friends and colleagues from the Staffordshire Lowland Search & Rescue Team (ALSAR) also were called to assist Cheshire Search and Rescue Team via our own search manager.
Shortly after deploying teams, the missing man was again found safe and well.
Team breakdown:
Dedicated Search Time = 1.5hr
Team Members = 7 (+4 Staffs SART)
Total Man Hours = 16.5hrs
May we thank our friends and colleagues over in Staffordshire for providing a rapid assistance, we all came together to provide our ultimate goal - locating the missing person and returning them to a place of safety.
