Urgent call-out for a high risk vhild in Appleton - 27 August 2008

An urgent call was received tonight from Cheshire Police for a 9 year old child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The response time was 30 minutes from the initial call to gathering at the RV point at Broomfield's Leisure Centre, Appleton. Cheshire Search and Rescue Team had a fantastic total of 22 team members present and available to work throughout the night searching for the young child.

Whilst members were gathering at the RV, we received the fantastic news that he had been found safe and well.

Thank you to his entire family, friends, neighbours and many more who have obviously completed a fantastic job searching the local grounds and communities.
