Search for missing Delamere Resident - 6 Jan
At 9am this morning, team members assembled at an RV point in Delamere for the search of a missing resident. This was following notification to the Duty Call Out Manager, Geoff Roberts, which he had received late last evening.
The person had gone missing from their home address, apparently on the 28 th December 2009 which was reported to Cheshire Police
In total 8 team members and one of our search dogs jointly responded alongside several resources from Cheshire Police and were deployed to varying search areas in and around the Delamere forest area. Searching was made slightly more difficult due to the recent snowfall and temperatures did not rise above zero degrees.
After a detailed search in Delamere the body of the deceased was found.
The search required 32 hours input from the team.
