Team Re-visits Chelford - 11 April

Following the Jumble & Table Top Sale at Latchford Methodist Church yesterday we had a lot of bric-a-brac items remaining.  Support member Rachel, suggested we held a car boot sale to sell the left over stock.

Members Denis Bates, Dave McClure, Andy Porter, Rachel Porter, Jo McClure and not forgetting Kieron and Caitlyn (our under 16 supporters!) travelled to Hollins Park car boot sale at 6.15am only to be turned away as it was full.  Not wanting to spoil the opportunity Jo then suggested to travel to Chelford and try there.

We arrived on-site and thankfully there was space.  Late arrivals Malcolm and Joanne Pritchard joined the early risers to assist with the event.  The weather was certainly on our side and the crowds soon appeared as our stock then disappeared and the collecting bucket was sounding optimistic.  We arrived with 20 boxes of bric-a-brac and left 16 boxes lighter and made an impressive £75.40.

That brings our weekend total to £197.96

May we thank Rachel who was a fantastic help ensuring we had breakfast and plenty of tea and coffee.  Also thank you to our under 16 helpers who were happy with an ice cream and a go on the bouncey castles.  Also to everyone who has donated items as without them we wouldn't have had this great opportunity.

We are going to be continually holding and collecting stock and running Car Boots and Jumbles when stock allows.  Please feel free to donate any items by ringing Jo on 07875 852337 and in certain areas of the county we can organise collections.
