Northwest underwater search team presentation - 11 May
Tonight we welcomed Colin Sammuel, from the police's Northwest Underwater Search Unit who gave a presentation to the team on his work.
This presentation was invaluable to us in Cheshire as 65% of the area is covered by watercourses of some description. There have been many occassions during searches where we come across areas of water which require searching and the Underwater Search Team have been called to assist. Whilst we have seen the team at work, we knew very little about just how much work they undertake.
Colin Sammuel presented the team with a fantastic presentation and an invaluable insight to the service they provide.
