Cheshire Lowland Search & Rescue Team trains on a fortnightly basis at a variety of venues in and around Cheshire. The training standards are set by ALSAR (Association of Lowland Search & Rescue) and also UKLSI (UK Lowland Search Institute). A constant high attendance of team members maintains a very high level of professionalism and skill.

The training is taught primarily by team members who have specialist skills in various aspects. Guest speakers are also invited to teach subjects which are more specialised, such as ‘Law and Reasonable Force’, ‘Sign Language and Deafness Awareness’ and ‘Child Protection’.
