Casualty Care

The majority of team members have completed the nationally recognised Basic Trauma and Casualty Care (www.atacc.net/btacc.asp) course.

This course teaches how to deal with major haemorrhage, airway and respiratory problems, how to check circulation and how to deal with head injuries including spinal injuries.

Casualty care is important as the team needs to be able to treat any injuries prior the missing person may have once they have been found.
